DIGITAL RETINAL PHOTOGRAPHY
We are proud to offer this new technology which allows instant viewing of the retina and optic nerve in great detail. This technology combines retinal photography with computerized imaging to examine and document the internal structures of the eye. This allows Dr. Hsiung a way to detect abnormal conditions that can lead to vision loss. Other health conditions that may be occurring within the body can also be detected.
This service is recommended as part of your complete annual eye health assessment and vision exam. The results are documented within your patient file and are a way to record and monitor any changes that may occur.
The equipment is also available and is used for emergency diagnosis of conditions such as retinal tear and retinal detachment.
